TEMS is proud to be a member, or have team mates who are members of, the following organizations:
International Telecommunications Union
ITU is the specialized agency for the United Nations for information and communication technologies. Assembling the world’s leading experts in the field, the ITU-T Study Group 12 develops the international standards for information and communication technologies, specifically in regards to performance, quality of service (QoS), and quality of experience (QoE).
Specification group SA5 (Telecom Management) specifies the architecture, requirements and solutions for provisioning and managing a network and its associated services. TEMS also attends and monitors Radio Layer groups 1 – 4 for 3GPP. These groups focus on all aspects of radio interfaces, including specifications on measurements, protocols, architectures, synchronizations, and simulations.
European Telecommunications Standards Institute
Members of ETSI are actively engaged in the organization, creating the roadmap for the institute, allocating resources, and approving all ETSI deliverables. The TC STQ branch of ETSI produces the standards for test methodologies test events, allowing manufacturers who may not be equipped with the testing equipment to become well versed in the new processes and standards.
Groupe Speciale Mobile Association (GSMA)
The GSMA represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide, uniting nearly 800 operators with more than 250 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset and device makers, software companies, equipment providers and internet companies, as well as organisations in adjacent industry sectors. The GSMA also produces industry-leading events such as Mobile World Congress, Mobile World Congress Shanghai and the Mobile 360 Series conferences.
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers: IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Signaling Processing Society
IEEE is the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its highly-cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing and technology information around the globe.
Video Quality Experts Group
The Video Quality Experts Group was first grounded in basic subjective methodology and objective tool development/verification for video quality assessment such that the industry could be moved forward with standardization and implementation. At the beginning it was focused around measuring the perceived video quality since the distribution path for video and audio were limited and known.
5G Innovation Center (University of Surrey)
The 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) at the University of Surrey is now the largest UK academic research centre dedicated to the development of the next generation of mobile and wireless communications. Bringing together leading academic expertise and key industry partners in a shared vision, the 5GIC will help to define and develop the 5G infrastructure that will underpin the way we communicate, work and live our everyday lives in the future.
Business Software Alliance (BSA)
BSA| The Software Alliance is the leading advocate for the global software industry before governments and in the international marketplace. It is an association of world-class companies that invest billions of dollars annually to create software solutions that spark the economy and improve modern life.
